Jana L. Serna, LCSW, MAC
Jana is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who also holds certification as a Master Addiction Counselor. She has completed significant post graduate training including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Rreprocessing), Progressive Counting, as well as training in substance use disorders. She specializes in working with adolescents and adults who have experienced traumatic events and traumatic childhoods.
Jana earned her Bachelors degree at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. Upon graduation she entered the advanced standing program of social work at the University of Georgia. She obtained a Masters in clinical social work in 2010. Jana has been in private practice for 2 years. Prior to private practice she held positions at an intensive outpatient program, a school system, foster care and adoption, and crisis intervention.
When Jana is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and cat. She enjoys being of service to her community and to those suffering with the disease of alcoholism and addiction.
